The car arrived on Valentine's Day so very appropriate! It has 130 miles on the clock. No scratches knocks etc.

I am really pleased with the vehicle. It drives well, the colour is great and certainly the right choice. The delivery was bang on time as the delivery company had confirmed. Thank you for the car mats. Despite being universal, they fit well and don't appear to be moving about as you predicted. I have been very impressed with the whole affair and it has been one of the most painless processes I have ever been through. Great business Ling. I could visit the website everyday just for entertainment and have told so many people about it. You may even have a colleague approach you soon. The envelopes are a joy and I shall keep them for some time! You just don't miss and opportunity do you?

In my line of work (Community Safety Manager, Wycombe District Council) I am always looking for new opportunities to encourage people to take care of their possessions, especially those they leave on display in cars. With you be very canny in your advertising I do wonder if you would consider also giving your customers a key ring for their new car keys and whilst taking the opportunity to advertise Lingscars.com on one side you could put a community safety message on the other. 'Have you left items on display?' 'Have you removed your Sat Nav?' 'Thieves are opportunists - don't give them the opportunity'. Like you I like to look for chances to promote my work and encourage every one to help cut crime. Just an idea!

Editor Note: Gilly, Thanks so much for the letter!! Yes, I used to give key rings, but I experiment with many ideas, one being the car mats. Re the key rings, I would.... but I would phrase it in a more direct manner by saying "It is stupid to leave stuff... etc". Do people need telling this? It is a bit like saying don't put your fingers in a plug socket. I have a problem with overheads in that giving so much away (even £1 keyrings) all adds up :) Is there a council budget somewhere, to subsidise this stuff??? It's laid out in price order, the prices for higher mileages are available at the touch of a button. Loads of useful info.

Ordering my new Renault Clio was very straightforward, no up front deposit or document fee, just an initial payment cheque (that didn't get cashed for over 2-weeks). All our emails were responded to very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend. The only problem was an out of date misleading warranty form (from Renault themselves) - otherwise excellent.

The chap who delivered was lovely, but didn't know diddly squat about the car, though.

Website, affordable, you can talk to the person in charge, the lease arrangements are progressed efficiently, the queries are answered quickly, delivery was easy to arrange, you don't have to phone for a quote, it's all on the web.

Not so good things:

The lease agreement itself was not well drafted, the sweets are disgusting.

Overall:

I would recommend to someone else without hesitation.

CarLing provided lots of communication whilst I waited for my new Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet. Her paperwork is simple, like me. The car has 4 wheels, a steering wheel and a nice pod in the door which holds my after shave balm - neat! As good as a cold drink on a hot day.

ps. Do not apply after-shave balm whilst driving!

If Ling can keep up the same one-on-one service with a smile and spread the same working methods to all staff as the business grows, they she will have a great business. Delivery of the Qashqai was fine - the cheery bloke was given a 10-mile lift back to the train station.

No one could provide me with an A3 quicker than you, at the lowest price! It was about 3 to 4 weeks from placing the order to collection of the car. I cannot fault any of the process, except the nasty sweets you gave me from China! Delivery was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

CarThe Kia Magentis has arrived and we are extremely pleased with it. I'm out showing it off to my brother! Just one thing though, the car arrived unwashed so had to go to the car wash straight away, which the very nice man who delivered it dealt with once Brian showed him where the car wash was. Brian then did the one thing that I'm sure lots of people (or husbands) do, signed the paperwork while waiting to go into the car wash without checking it over. Just to let you know there is a very slight dent over the rear drivers side wheel arch. I know you warned us not to do this but... anyway just so its on record.

Cars should always be checked BEFORE you sign the delivery note :) ...I will do my best to get this dent fixed as soon as you send me a digital photo of it. But I can't promise, you know the dealership will deny it. However, glad you are pleased and does everyone know you got an £18k car for just £170 a month??? WOW! Fantastic, plus it is V6 Auto! Badge snobs take note! I have complained about the "unwashed" bit, but in early Feb, sometimes they do get dirty on the route.

CarIf only all companies were as committed as LingsCars. After ordering my Citroen C4 Cool, Ling found that they had stopped production of that model. These things happen. However she managed to find me one of the last ones in the country and in my choice of colour too. Top marks to the dealer too, the car turned up as promised in time for me to take it to work. I'll be back in two years!!

CarHaving been a user of PCP type rental for a few years I knew what to expect, Ling was very professional as were all of her staff I spoke to, Nothing was too much trouble, every query I had was answered quickly and in a friendly manner.

Ling does what she says, and that gave me confidence. I would'nt bother to go anywhere else next time, as the service with Ling is exceptional.

Excellent delivery - the Volvo XC90 was promised before noon and duly arrived at 9.30am (from Pxxxxxxxxx). The delivery man was a miracle worker given how difficult it is to get a large vehicle to where we live.

It is so refreshing to deal with honest, professional people who's word is their bond. I'll be back very soon when my other Merc is due for replacement
