After some weeks of getting quotes from lease companies, I came across your wacky website. I thought I would give it a go. Well - from start to finish it has been the most efficient and at times entertaining way of leasing a car. Using the LINGO worked very well, within 5 weeks I had a brand new Honda Civic sitting on my drive.

Kathryn says... I have to admit to being very nervous about making such a big commitment with an internet company. However, the local Honda dealer wanted an extra £3,500 (WOW! No wonder the dealers are struggling! - Ling), so Ling got my business.
From start to finish it was completely painless, with questions answered almost immediately and in a friendly and caring way, to me. I've already recommended Ling to anyone who mentions wanting a new car.
The irony of it all is that I get to take my new Honda Civic for a service at the dealer who wanted the extra £3,500 (WOW! Again... - Ling)! And, guess who the finance company is? Yes - the one the dealer couldn't get a better deal from!!!!
Good delivery, but apparently the credit crunch means they don't clean the cars before delivery. Doesn't make checking them very easy.

Richard says... I wanted to write you a short note to thank you and your team for your recent help in getting me back in a new car, a Honda Civic Type-S.
Having written my Vauxhall Corsa off in November your advice with the insurance company was really helpful in getting the claim sorted quickly and back on the road. At the start of January, being able to place an order for a new car and having it delivered to my door three weeks later is an excellent service. A very nice man delivered my new Honda Civic type S all clean and shiny on the back of a transporter with only 6 miles on the clock. Such a nice chap indeed he even got a cup of tea and a biscuit off the wife!
Using the new Lingo system this time from a customer point of view was also really useful. Actually being able to see what stage the whole process was at, easily upload specific documents was really helpful and informative. A good innovation.
I will definitely be in contact again in two years when the contract is up as the service is absolutely second to none.

Paul says... Very easy process from beginning to delivery of car, Ling does all the hard work. I just read the forms and signed them. Delivery was spot on, no fuss or bother.
However... I haven't had confirmation from the finance company on what day my payments are taken from my account. The car was first registered 24/12/07, I took delivery 19/05/2008, on a 3-year contract - so there is a warranty shortfall.
I'd recommend Lings Cars / her process to anybody thinking about getting a new car.

Paul, well, the finance company should take payment 1 month after delivery, but that can usually be adjusted by you by a few days either way to fit in with pay-day, etc. I did make clear on my car detail page that these were pre-reg cars, so yes, you have a warranty shortfall on a 3-year contract. However, this is a Honda, and they have the lowest warranty claims in the industry. Ian says... Although slightly mad, Ling is very efficient! I sorted my new Honda Civic Type-R out with only a few emails and a couple of docs to sign. The car turned up nearly four-weeks early and with a free scratch, too! I would recommend Ling without problem. Delivery was average, the car had a scratch and was dirty.
