What are they? Watchman Speed cameras use radar similar to the Gatso Speed Camera. The difference with the Watchman Speed Camera is that it can monitor the speed of a vehicle before you pass it.
Where will I see them? You can see them in and around Glossop although I'm sure they're all over Derbyshire.
Who owns it? Local Safety Camera Partnership.
How do they work? They detect your speed as you approach through a black window on the back of the camera, measure it as you move away from the camera in usual fashion - and they can be linked-up to measure average speed.
Will I be fined? YES!
