I put so much effort into my business, so I am pleased to give something back to China.

It is with some effort to support a small band of happy kids in a special school in Sichuan Province, that I donate some money to buy art materials for Rong Chang Deaf and Dumb School. I also take British art material, English text and drawing books and special drawing pencils not available in Rong Chang.

Kids here are very normal, except they are dumb and deaf at same time, so life in China is very difficult for them. So I decide to assist school with donations to buy art materials, as school specialises in art classes. Kids actually create art goods which teachers sell to get funds for school as it has very little Chinese state funding and would not survive, otherwise. Is this child labour? Not really, I think, as kids are doing it to learn new skills to support themselves in the world when they are adult, and also they enjoy making goods and are not forced to do this.

As Sichuan is very hot place in summer they make nice folding fans to sell to people in city decorated with paintings of cherry blossom. If anyone wishes to assist me to do this work and send small gift to kids in Rong Chang school, I would welcome any donantions. For every donation over £10, I will send you one of the hand-painted fans, made by Rong Chang Deaf and Dumb School kids. I bought some of these fans from the kids, and they might not be worth £10, but they have been made with care and diligence and they are very special.
