 PLEASE GLANCE AT THIS: I not want to encourage you to fill form in without actually wanting car, BUT, this finance proposal form does not commit you to taking car. It is simply to see if finance company likes look of you. Most of my finance is contract hire, but occasionally I can supply car leasing, PCP and lease hire.
After you pass finance check, I send you car ORDER form. Car order form (I explain for stupid customers) is form you sign to order car.
So; Finance Proposal form = no commitment. Order form = commitment. - Hope this helps you.
Explaining finance proposal now follows:
My contract hire cars are underwritten by finance companies. This is because the finance company takes the risk of the value of the car while you are renting it. I use many reputable companies such as Black Horse, Renault Finance, Ford Credit, Capital Bank, Genus, Network, Automotive Leasing etc. I constantly research all available deals to make sure you get best, cheapest finance company. Things change hourly!
Your next step is to print a finance proposal form, fully complete it, then fax or email it back to me. The form is generic, but the information required is roughly the same for every finance company. Because the proposal form contains information which you may have to look up, it is not really suitable for on-line completion (you would probably encounter a session timeout in IE, and your information inputted would be wasted).
You should know if you will be accepted by the finance company. Usual credit scoring applies. You will sign the form to indicate that you agree to having a search carried out by the finance company. The finance company may request additional information.
When finance approval has been completed, I will fax you an order form for your car(s). Check it, sign it, indicate your colour choice, then fax it back to me. I may require a copy of your driving licence and a utility bill showing a proof of address faxed to me to verify identity (I will advise you of this, but it's standard practice these days).
