I’ve updated the enviro stuff on this Land Rover Discovery

Looking at my records, the Land Rover Discovery 2.7 TD V6 (190bhp) GS 4WD Station Wagon (7-seat) 5dr 2720cc Diesel Automatic has changed today, so I have updated the environmental information on my website. You have to laugh that I can beat Land Rover to this update!
Most extras fitted onto cars don’t seem to make difference to the resale price in 2-3 years. Metallic paint, leather and aircon actually do, but let’s face it most cars I sell come with aircon and met paint, anyway. So, if you ask for quote to include extras, you can bet life that it will mean you pay the whole cost of the extra thing, divided by the number of rentals.
Carbon Dioxide is the most important of the greenhouse gases which are contributing to Climate Change. Unless action is taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as Carbon Dioxide, the whole pattern of the World’s weather could change, increasing the frequency and intensity of heatwaves, floods, droughts and storms.
The different fuels have different merits from an environmental perspective. Compared to petrol, diesel vehicles have significantly lower CO2 emissions per kilometre traveled because of the higher efficiency of diesel engines and hence have a lower impact on climate change. Diesel vehicles also emit lower levels of CO and HC than equivalent petrol vehicles. However diesel engines emit greater levels of NOx and Particles than new petrol vehicles. As mentioned earlier, emissions of such pollutants are an air quality issue, particularly in urban areas.
Having got all the info for the Land Rover Discovery Diesel Automatic, I can publish the new CO2 figure: 270g/km. This will change across the different models of this particular car, they are all a bit different. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Land Rover Discovery is now 27mpg

M band overall.

Business customers, make sure you deduct the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).
This price on my Land Rover Discovery includes full road tax for the length of the contract, on all of my cars and vans! Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £597.99 inc VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.
One of my best awards was the 2008 best non-franchise environmentalist, awarded by Automotive Management.
