GoogleGrope is a weekly, worldwide competition to grab top spot on Google for a search phrase.

A fairly unique but benign search phrase is generated on this site and the race starts. Participants have 48 hours to create blog/website page which Google will (hopefully) list on its generic search page. The winner is the participant with the highest placed organic search result on www.Google.com after 48 hours of the launch time.
This is a chance to compete on equal terms with other bloggers and the result will be totally based on merit.
The weekly winner enters the hall of fame and gains massive street credibility.
The competition was the idea of Ross Cooney of Email Cloud and Ling Valentine of LINGsCARS.com. Speaking from her Gateshead, UK “World Headquarters”, Ling said “Google Grope is one of the most intelligent competitions on the internet. It costs nothing to enter and bloggers’ results are based completely on skill and merit. The best blogger or SEO expert will win. A total novice can pull the rug out from under alleged SEO experts. Google Groping is great!”
Emailcloud is a premium spam filteration service provided by Rozmic Wireless Ltd, a UK cloud computing specialist. Rozmic’s founder Ross Cooney has been at the forefront of spam and virus research for more than a decade, providing reliable solutions for large and small organisations alike. Ross is a worldwide expert on Cloud Computing. He says: “Google Grope rocks. This started as a friendly competition between Ling and me for the search phrase “Downtime is Unacceptable”. Ling won that fight, but only just. We ended up as No1 and No2 on Google for that search phrase, and our idea became contagious!”
Google Grope is set to become the web intelligentsia’s most talked about skillful weekly blogging competition on the world-wide-web.
