Changing this information for the Citroen C5 Tourer 2.0 HDi (138bhp) VTR Plus Estate 5dr 1997cc Diesel Manual, I noticed most other websites still use old values. You should trust that I work harder to give you the correct info!
As a bonus to add to your lower motoring costs, you will get every subsequent year’s road tax sent to you free of charge, saving you up to £385 per year, or £1,155 on a 3-year contract!
At the Kyoto Conference on Climate Change in December 1997 all developed countries agreed to legally binding targets to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in response to warnings over global climate change. Following this the European Commission and the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) came to an agreement in July 1998 that committed ACEA to reduce the CO2 emissions from new passenger cars by over 25% to an average CO2 emission figure of 140 g/km by 2008. This is one of the most significant industry agreements on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and it has led to more fuel efficient vehicles being brought to the market. Similar voluntary agreements have now been reached with Japanese and Korean motor manufacturers. I dread to think what the Chinese are doing…
In 1993 exhaust emission limits, (generally referred to as the Euro 1 standards) were introduced for new cars which resulted in the adoption of advanced emission control techniques, e.g. catalysts. More stringent emission limits came into effect in 1997 (Euro 2) and 2001 (Euro 3) and 1st January 2005 (Euro 4). Euro 4 came fully into force on 1st January 2007 and now covers most new cars on sale.
For this brand new Citroen C5 Tourer Diesel Manual, the latest CO2 figure is just 155g/km. When I chose this trim, it was because I have a few of these available. Different trims will have different CO2. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Citroen C5 Tourer is now 47.90mpg, the noise level is 71.1dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.169g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness). Hydrocarbons, contribute to ground level Ozone formation leading to risk of damage to the human respiratory system. The HC level for the Citroen C5 Tourer is 0g/km.
The Citroen C5 Tourer falls into the
D band overall.

Here’s a patronising tip from the government: “
Check your fuel consumption – it will help you get the most from the car, changes in overall fuel consumption may indicate a fault.”
Here is a comment about my website (I have disguised the email address) “This site is crazier than the frog, but I’m also glad to say damn nicer and more interesting too, especially since I also test drove the Renault Megane – great deal, I’m off to look around more. Fab site
