Car CO2 change for the Chrysler Grand Voyager
Posted on | April 30, 2009 | Comments Off
The Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD (161bhp) Touring MPV 5dr 2776cc Diesel Automatic has new environmental information today. I have updated! Pay attention, you are too slow
Physical stock is always limited, as cars cannot be made to appear by magic, there are only so many sat in corner of field. So be brave, grab a bargain and avoid me having to make phone calls to disappointed people who have left decision too late. Remember that you have to pass finance before I can reserve you a car, so allow time for that!
Back to CO2 – there is no easy technical way to deal with CO2. The best way to reduce it and the other emissions is to use the car only when it is necessary and to walk or use public transport where possible. When you are choosing a vehicle and you have selected the most appropriate class of vehicle for your needs, choose the most fuel efficient vehicle in that group. This is where a franchised new car dealer really struggles. Is a Ford dealer really going to advise a customer to buy a lower-polluting Renault Megane? Did you know the fuel consumption of similar size cars can vary as much as 45%?
The different fuels have different merits from an environmental perspective. Compared to petrol, diesel vehicles have significantly lower CO2 emissions per kilometre traveled because of the higher efficiency of diesel engines and hence have a lower impact on climate change. Diesel vehicles also emit lower levels of CO and HC than equivalent petrol vehicles. However diesel engines emit greater levels of NOx and Particles than new petrol vehicles. As mentioned earlier, emissions of such pollutants are an air quality issue, particularly in urban areas.
I have taken a typical model of this car from my website – the Chrysler Grand Voyager Diesel Automatic. For this car, the CO2 is now just 247g/km. Other trim levels might differ slightly. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Chrysler Grand Voyager is now 30.40mpg, the noise level is 75dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.283g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness).
The Chrysler Grand Voyager falls into the
G band overall.
My Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD (161bhp) Touring MPV 5dr 2776cc Diesel Automatic gearbox is only £402.49 inc VAT per month with 3 months initial payment, followed by 35 payments on direct debit. Business customers, make sure you deduct the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).
This price on my Chrysler Grand Voyager includes full road tax for the length of the contract, on all of my cars and vans! Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £402.49 inc VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.
Winning the environmental award (2008 Best Environmentalist in the car industry) was very pleasing for me as it meant I was being recognised for my hard work. I’m the the ONLY new car supplier to display and promote environmental info for ALL new cars, on the web! Please note I have pioneered availability of environmental information on the internet. Using the internet to research and buy new cars is the most environmentally friendly method, by miles.
Here’s a patronising tip from the government: “
Lose weight – don’t carry unnecessary weight, remove roof racks when not in use.”
Looking at my pile of website remarks, I just found this one: “I came across your website, which I have found to be really amazing and has really brightened up my normally boring days.
