Car CO2 change for the Citroen Berlingo Multispace

Looking at my records, the Citroen Berlingo Multispace (New Shape) 1.6 HDi (90bhp) VTR Station Wagon (5-seat) 5dr 1560cc Diesel Manual has changed today, so I have updated the environmental information on my website. You have to laugh that I can beat Citroen to this update!

Most extras fitted onto cars don’t seem to make difference to the resale price in 2-3 years. Metallic paint, leather and aircon actually do, but let’s face it most cars I sell come with aircon and met paint, anyway. So, if you ask for quote to include extras, you can bet life that it will mean you pay the whole cost of the extra thing, divided by the number of rentals.

Carbon Dioxide is the most important of the greenhouse gases which are contributing to Climate Change. Unless action is taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as Carbon Dioxide, the whole pattern of the World’s weather could change, increasing the frequency and intensity of heatwaves, floods, droughts and storms.

In 1993 exhaust emission limits, (generally referred to as the Euro 1 standards) were introduced for new cars which resulted in the adoption of advanced emission control techniques, e.g. catalysts. More stringent emission limits came into effect in 1997 (Euro 2) and 2001 (Euro 3) and 1st January 2005 (Euro 4). Euro 4 came fully into force on 1st January 2007 and now covers most new cars on sale.

Working it out from the tables, the CO2 is just 150g/km for the Citroen Berlingo Multispace Diesel Manual. There are a few cars in this range, so different specs will give slightly different CO2 values. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Citroen Berlingo Multispace is now 49.60mpg, the noise level is 73.7dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.201g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness).

The Citroen Berlingo Multispace falls into the C band overall.

My Citroen Berlingo Multispace (New Shape) 1.6 HDi (90bhp) VTR Station Wagon (5-seat) 5dr 1560cc Diesel Manual gearbox is only £221.94 inc VAT per month with 3 months initial payment, followed by 35 payments on direct debit. Business customers, make sure you deduct the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).

This price on my Citroen Berlingo Multispace includes full road tax for the length of the contract, on all of my cars and vans! Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £221.94 inc VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.

Winning the environmental award (2008 Best Environmentalist in the car industry) was very pleasing for me as it meant I was being recognised for my hard work. I’m the the ONLY new car supplier to display and promote environmental info for ALL new cars, on the web! Please note I have pioneered availability of environmental information on the internet. Using the internet to research and buy new cars is the most environmentally friendly method, by miles.
