New Oxides of Nitrogen data on my Honda Civic Type-R

Fuel is a fortune these days, so when the Honda Civic Type-R 2.0 i-VTEC (198bhp) Type R GT Hatchback 3dr 1998cc Petrol Manual has slightly changed figures, I always blog about it, because my customers say they care.

How to explain this without it seeming like the usual sales talk? … I don’t know, but I will try to make this clear… You know, you are not buying this car. Only renting it for (probably 1 or 2 or 3 years). So you are not stuck with it forever. So, you have no real risk. You are going to pay someone some money to run a car however you look at it.

In 1993 exhaust emission limits, (generally referred to as the Euro 1 standards) were introduced for new cars which resulted in the adoption of advanced emission control techniques, e.g. catalysts. More stringent emission limits came into effect in 1997 (Euro 2) and 2001 (Euro 3) and 1st January 2005 (Euro 4). Euro 4 came fully into force on 1st January 2007 and now covers most new cars on sale.

I am pleased to say that the CO2 for the Honda Civic Type-R Petrol Manual is now 215g/km. If you chose a different trim level, the CO2 would change, but not by much. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Honda Civic Type-R is now 31.00mpg, the noise level is 73.1dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.016g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness). Hydrocarbons, contribute to ground level Ozone formation leading to risk of damage to the human respiratory system. The HC level for the Honda Civic Type-R is 0.042g/km.

The Honda Civic Type-R falls into the F band overall.

My Honda Civic Type-R 2.0 i-VTEC (198bhp) Type R GT Hatchback 3dr 1998cc Petrol with Manual gearbox is only £222.00+VAT per month with 3 months initial payment, followed by 35 payments on direct debit. Private customers, make sure you add in the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).

Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £222.00+VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.
