Green changes on my Land Rover Range Rover Sport

CO2 affects fuel consumption directly. Less CO2 means less fuel burnt. So, I’m reporting this change on the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel Automatic. Have a look at the new figures.

Most extras fitted onto cars don’t seem to make difference to the resale price in 2-3 years. Metallic paint, leather and aircon actually do, but let’s face it most cars I sell come with aircon and met paint, anyway. So, if you ask for quote to include extras, you can bet life that it will mean you pay the whole cost of the extra thing, divided by the number of rentals.

My customers have obtained their cars by the lowest polluting method possible – by acquiring them electronically from the internet. No one has had to travel to a showroom (repeatedly) or contributed to car dealers’ massive environmental overheads (heating, lighting, water use, fuel, staffing costs). The cars I supply are often delivered direct from manufacturers’ depots, or where they have been "through" a dealer, they have not required the showroom overhead (these efficiencies have the added benefit of reducing costs!).

Hybrid vehicles combine an internal combustion engine with an electric motor and battery. There are various ways in which hybrid vehicles can operate. For example the electric motor can be used to provide additional power during acceleration and high load conditions. The battery can then be recharged by the internal combustion engine or from energy absorbed during braking, or, in some cases, from an external electrical supply. Hybrid vehicles offer reduced fuel consumption and CO2 with potentially some reduction in emissions of local pollutants.

I have taken a typical model of this car from my website – the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel Automatic. For this car, the CO2 is now just 265g/km. Other trim levels might differ slightly. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Land Rover Range Rover Sport is now 28.20mpg, the noise level is 72dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.317g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness).

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport falls into the G band overall.

My Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2.7 TD V6 (188bhp) S 4WD Station Wagon 5dr 2720cc Diesel with Automatic gearbox is only £459.99+VAT per month with 3 months initial payment, followed by 35 payments on direct debit. Private customers, make sure you add in the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).

This price on my Land Rover Range Rover Sport includes full road tax for the length of the contract, on all of my cars and vans! Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £459.99+VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.
