FEMALE FRIENDLY GARAGES WANTED…

Ahead of a consumer launch in October, a new and independent website service called FOXY Choice www.foxychoice.com is recruiting female friendly garages and dealerships to show off their business credentials and amenities to local motorists at MOT, car servicing and repair times. A FOXY Garage Services Guide starts the process off by explaining the differences between dealers and independent garages, introducing the latest signs of industry quality, leading trade associations and some new garage network groups. Motorists can then search for the best choice of local garage solutions, to suit their car and budget.

All listed businesses are required to sign the female-friendly FOXY Promise which states “We strive to be a female friendly business and will never knowingly overcharge, patronise or sell our customers services they do not need or want.”

Businesses that set out to meet female standards at MOT, servicing and repair time are likely to be the best choice for men too because women are professional shoppers who know what they want, expect a good deal and are quick to go elsewhere if they aren’t impressed. Those that get things right for women drivers evidently offer these higher standards for male motorists too.

In addition to the Garage Services Guide and FOXY Promise FOXY will support any motorist who is unhappy with a listed FOXY Choice service and reserves the right to de-list any business that demonstrates an evident disregard for motorists’ safety or a ‘couldn’t care less’ customer attitude. In recognition of their investment in quality all ATA employers, BSI Kitemark holders and businesses operating to an OFT approved code are entitled to introductory discounts in 2008.

Prices for Bronze, Silver and Gold packages start from just £5 per month with introductory discounts for ATA employers, BSI Kitemark holders and businesses operating to an OFT approved code.

Early sign ups get free publicity during the summer months whilst FOXY optimises the website AND qualify for a ’15 months for the price of 12′ offer. FOXY Choice Silver and Gold packages are effectively individual website pages which can be used for female friendly marketing campaigns as they track the number of page visitors and can be used to measure subsequent email and corporate website click throughs. A specified number of search categories is included in each package and, subject to the package chosen, businesses can promote evidence of quality, membership of leading garage networks and associations, superior customer services and female friendly amenities.

No other garage website lists the likes of distance to shops, clean loos, something to entertain the children and female magazines yet these factors may well be the difference between meeting customer expectations or losing the customer to a competitor who promotes these features.
