Harmful emissions on the Kia Sorento

The impact of CO2 is important. I always compare my figures with the Government data, so when it changes, like on this Kia Sorento Diesel Manual, I note it here in my blog.
With my deals, you get a brand new car with zero miles on the clock, delivered to your door. The new car is fully taxed and has the full manufacturer’s warranty and AA cover. It has proper New Car Smell; you know this smell? MMMMM!
According to Nicholas Stern’s report, 14 per cent of global carbon dioxide emissions come from transport. The SMMT points out that the motor industry recognises it has a key role to play in reducing the impact of its products and production processes and will continue to develop the technologies to deliver more sustainable motoring. New cars, commercial vehicles and buses reflect many of the cleaner technologies coming to market, including biofuel models, hybrids and greener diesel vehicles.
In 1993 exhaust emission limits, (generally referred to as the Euro 1 standards) were introduced for new cars which resulted in the adoption of advanced emission control techniques, e.g. catalysts. More stringent emission limits came into effect in 1997 (Euro 2) and 2001 (Euro 3) and 1st January 2005 (Euro 4). Euro 4 came fully into force on 1st January 2007 and now covers most new cars on sale.
I am pleased to say that the CO2 for the Kia Sorento Diesel Manual is now 209g/km. If you chose a different trim level, the CO2 would change, but not by much. Click on the “fridge label” to get a enviroment label to print for this car. The combined cycle economy for this Kia Sorento is now 35.80mpg, the noise level is 73.5dB(A) (decibels), the level of nitrogen oxides is 0.317g/km (oxides of Nitrogen react in the atmosphere to form Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) which can have adverse effects on health, particularly among people with respiratory illness).
The Kia Sorento falls into the
F band overall.
My Kia Sorento 2.5 CRDi (168bhp) XS 4WD Station Wagon 5dr 2497cc Diesel with Manual gearbox is only £268.57+VAT per month with 3 months initial payment, followed by 17 payments on direct debit. Private customers, make sure you add in the VAT, when making decisions. As I can’t tell what type of customer you are (business or private), I can’t display the price any other way but to show VAT seperately (sorry!).
This price on my Kia Sorento includes full road tax for the length of the contract, on all of my cars and vans! Free delivery to your home or work and free collection from you at the end! £268.57+VAT per month is based on you driving 10,000 miles per annum, but higher mileages are usually available at a small extra cost. If you go over the allocated miles, you can pay a small excess mileage charge, usually between 3p and 15p per mile.
One of my best awards was the 2008 best non-franchise environmentalist, awarded by Automotive Management. The web is fickle, I have noticed LINGsCARS is the ONLY new car supplier to display and promote environmental info for ALL new cars, on the web! My website won "BEST non-franchised WEBSITE 2007" in the Automotive Management Awards.
Here’s a patronising tip from the government: “
Do not compromise safety but be aware that the use of onboard electrical devices increases fuel consumption.”
Read this website comment. I really try my best! (email address altered) “I also think Americans complain much, much, much too much.
