My Bus is On The Road – WAH!

At last!!!

Ling's Bus! My London bus is ready to go, all finished, painted, stickered, re-trimmed, DVD’d, taxed and decked out inside. It will feature 100 of my best deals for private customers. What do you think?

Jon (hubby) took these pictures at the same time as Mark Pinder, the Financial Times photographer was doing a photo shoot for me. So there will be more, better quality and more artistic ones to come. Still, you can recognise the big head, hehehe.

I bought the bus last November, and Jon drove it all the way back from Cornwall. Since then it has been a labour of love to get it looking something like it might have done when it came out of the Park Royal factory. Luckily, I have been given an engineer’s decision from VOSA who say that in their opinion I don’t have to MOT, test or plate it. It is classified as an exhibition vehicle. Ling's Bus

Ling's bus It drives fantastically. It is really like new in its condition and has only done one quarter of a million miles ( 10 times around the world) according to the axle counter thing. I have fitted 2 x TVs feeding from a DVD player, so it plays all my movies and short films from the website, all 2-hours of them.

You’ll have to wait for pics of the inside, Jon was employed to hold Mark’s flash gun, so couldn’t get any of me prancing about upstairs. A short Cliff Richard rip-off film will follow shortly, I cannot resist, you British are quite stupid! You like that rubbish! Wait.

Ling's Bus!!! Yesterday, we had a test run out to the seafront at Sunderland, went for an Italian meal and enjoyed the view. There are still a couple of seats at the back upstairs for customers to use, and the side facing seats are still in place in the bottom. So plenty of space to sit and have a chat.

It will be out working from next weekend, maybe if I post a schedule of where I am (or where my bus will be), you can come and visit? Bring a picnic and some beer, eh?
