OH! It Gets Worse

Today I opened my issue of CAR magazine, and it came with a free CD from Renault.

Wow! Huh? Yes. Stunningly crap. You know, they have made a Flash movie. About the Clio. Still pretending it is half French and half British. Just hope the electrical bits aren’t French. The movie isn’t any good. Very arty-farty.

Renault CD yawn! They show lots of sylish views of the small red plastic hatchback, and bang on about French/English comparisons like this one, a French mime artist (for GOD’s SAKE! how naff!) -v- a very coiffured British punk. With lipstick. The French mime artist should have blood and a hole where is nose is, because the punk would rip his face off.

Matter of fact, why don’t they show Zidane doing his headbutt, compared to Rooney and his balls-stamp? Ze French idiot, the English tosser. All marketing is rubbish, frankly, and this Renault stuff is mega-rubbish.

However, they’ve put so much effort into this CD (not), that it almost resembles the Clio. It only has a 26Mb Flash file on it, that’s the other 650Mb wasted. I thought at least they would clag something entertaining on it. Ze French porn, the English dirty old man? But no, nothing. It’s just a disposable boring plastic thing that spins fast, but without much content. A bit like the Clio? That would be too cruel, but I really wonder why they bother?
