Crush My (Peugeot) 307.co.uk

Well, the guy with the Peugeot 307 that was so bad he decided to crush it, is getting lots of publicity.
Owner Mark Fell-Crook from Prestatyn, Denbighshire says he’s had loads of trouble from it since buying it in 2002 even though it’s only got 30,000 miles under its wheels. So, inspired by an event in The Simpsons, he plans to crush the car and return the resulting cube to his Peugeot dealer.
And, in my view, he is totally right to draw attention to this badly-built car! My husband part-owns a car supermarket and he says that they too have had customers with bad new 307′s, “One customer had a very dodgy car which even added miles onto the odometer when he closed the door! In this case, Peugeot were not very helpful and it was very difficult to get any satisfaction for the customer“, and guess what. Hubby says, “there’s another 307 sitting in our yard with exactly the same fault as Mark’s 307, the anti-pollution fault! We’ve had it to a dealer, the customer’s had it to a dealer but no one can mend it. It’s sat gathering dust.”
I am so impressed that Mark has stuck to his guns that I have made a small donation for an ad on his site!
So good luck to Mark Fell-Crook! It is about time that he got some satisfaction from Peugeot. Manufacturers should learn to bite the bullet early and immediately replace a bad car, in my view.
